Today was a pretty good day. Not much happened during the school day (other than me being really tired.) After school I was supposed to renew my driver's permit (yeah, yeah, I still haven't bothered to take my driver's test) but my mom also wanted me to do something else, so I ended up not doing either, because I couldn't get a ride. Instead I walked downtown to pick up my paycheck, and Luke had texted me that he had a surprise for me. I had no idea what it could have been.
I got to the shop, and he gave me this really pretty etched picture that was very vibrantly colored. It has Merlin on it, Excalibur coming out of the lake, a unicorn, and the shape of a dragon in the sky. I really like it (And it's extra special because it was a gift.) He had been going to apply for a job (which he said went really well, so I hope he gets the job!) and some kids were selling the pictures for donations to their church or something. He thought I would like it (He also said he wanted the good karma XD) so he spent all of his spending money for the next two weeks on getting it for me (Even though it was pretty expensive, and probably way overpriced) but I like it, and it makes me feel special ^.^
Next, he walked with me to my work and to the bank. We were both hungry, and I had a little bit of time before I had to be home to get ready for my concert, so we went to this little restaurant-cafe thing (Rose street pizza) and I had a hamburger, and he had a chili dog. I had no issue paying for it. It was nice, and fun to hang out.
Then I had to get ready for my concert (Concert choir and symphony orchestra) and I was really excited until I found out my mom's car wasn't starting. My mom's friend (who lives in our basement right now) was gonna give us a ride, but she never showed up, so I ended up having to bike there, which was really frustrating. The concert went really really well though! It was great! But then I had to bike home which was cold. Now I have to work on a bunch of homework.
But other than the tiredness, biking, and homework, It was a really great day!
